Privacy Policy

SuguCu is the advertising platform of Sugar Curate, a sole trader licensed in Saint Christopher and Nevis. This policy covers go.sugucu.com and sugucu.com.
We keep this simple. You give us what we need to run your campaign and take your payment. Nothing more. We do not sell your information to anyone.

A Note On The Law
Saint Christopher and Nevis passed a Data Protection Act in 2018. It has not yet been brought into force, as no commencement order has been issued. We follow its principles anyway: we collect only what we need, use it only for the purpose we collected it for, keep it only as long as we have a reason to, and give you the right to see it and correct it. If the Act commences, this policy will be reviewed against it.
What We Collect
Your account. Business name, contact email, and a password. The password is stored scrambled, never in readable form, and no one at SuguCu can see it.
Your campaigns. The package you chose, your start date, your cycle dates, the price at the time you booked, and the status of the campaign.
Your creative. The images or video you upload for the screen.
Your payments. Amount, date, method, order number, and receipt. If you pay by cash or check pickup, we also record the date, time, and place you agreed for collection.
Your referral code. If a salesperson set up your booking or you arrived through their link, we record which one.
Emails. The transactional emails we send you and whether they were delivered.
Site logs. Standard web server records: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not store card numbers. When you pay by card, your card details pass through our checkout to our payment provider and are not kept. We never write a card number or security code to our records, and no one at SuguCu can retrieve one.
If you choose to save a card so your next cycle can be paid without entering it again, the card is stored by our payment provider, not by us. We hold only a reference token that stands in for it. The token is not a card number and cannot be used anywhere else.
We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not sell, rent, or trade yours.
Why We Collect It
To run your campaign and get your ad on screen. To take payment and issue receipts. To review your creative against our published ad policy before it runs. To send you the emails your campaign needs, such as booking confirmations, approval notices, payment reminders, and receipts. To keep proper accounting records. To keep the site secure and working.
Who We Share It With
We share information only with the services that make the platform work, and only what they need:
- JAD Cash, which processes card and wallet payments. We send your name, billing address, email address, phone number, order reference, and the amount due so the payment can be taken. JAD Cash uses an international card processing network to authorise card transactions.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests them from Google, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it, such as a valid order from a court or a government authority.
Beyond the services that run the platform and process payments, we share nothing. No advertising networks. No data brokers. No one else.
Paying By Card And Your JAD Cash Account
When you pay, JAD Cash may create a free JAD Cash account for you in the background, using your email address as the identifier. This is done by JAD Cash, not by us. We do not trigger it, we are not told when it happens, and we have no access to the account.
If an account is created, JAD Cash emails you directly about it. The account is free and carries no obligation. You can use it, ignore it, or claim it later. Anything to do with that account is between you and JAD Cash.
Because your email address is the identifier, please use a real one at checkout.
Your Creative And The Screen
Artwork you upload is shown publicly on an outdoor screen. That is the point of the service. Please do not include personal information in your creative that you would not want seen in public.
We keep a play record of which ad ran and at what time. This supports billing and lets us show you your ad ran as booked. It records ads, not people.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to function: keeping you logged in, remembering your booking as you move through checkout, and protecting against fraud. We run no advertising cookies and no analytics trackers.
How Long We Keep Things
- Account and campaign records. While your account is active, plus 24 months.
- Order and payment records. 7 years, as accounting records require.
- Uploaded creative. 12 months after the cycle ends.
- Play records. 24 months.
- Site logs. 90 days.
When a period ends, the information is deleted.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to advertiser information is limited to the owner of the business. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we treat your information as something worth protecting.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information, except records we are required to keep for accounting purposes

Changes To This Policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will email advertisers with active campaigns.
