Terms & Ad Policy
These terms cover every booking made on this site. They are written in plain language on purpose. By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them. Questions first? Write to info@sugucu.com.
1. What You Are Buying
SuguCu sells share-of-voice advertising on a large-format outdoor LED screen. The screen runs a continuous 64-second loop, day and night. Your package determines how often your ad appears in that loop: Gold plays every loop, Silver every 2nd loop, Bronze every 4th loop, Community every 16th loop in a rotating shared position. Morning Drive and Evening Drive give you every loop during their stated window, exclusively. Feature plays your full video, up to 30 seconds, uncut, once every 4th loop. Standard slots play for 8 seconds; where a video creative is longer, we keep the first 8 seconds. Play counts shown on this site (for example, about 1,350 plays a day for Gold) are good-faith estimates, not a guaranteed count.
Every campaign runs in 28-day cycles starting on the date you choose at booking.
2. Booking and Payment
Payment secures your slot. Approval of your creative is what puts it on screen. Both must happen before your campaign goes live.
Prices are quoted in XCD per 28-day cycle. Payment is taken online at booking. We never store your card. Each following cycle is paid one of three ways: a secure pay link sent to your email and shown in your dashboard, cash collected by pickup, or check collected by pickup. Pickups are arranged at a date, time and place convenient to you.
3. Continuing Cycle to Cycle
Every product is month to month from day one. There are no minimum terms and no contracts to sign beyond these terms.
Nothing auto-renews and there are no saved cards, but your campaign continues whenever the next cycle is paid, holding the same position in the loop. We send a payment notice 7 days before your cycle ends and a reminder at 2 days. If you would rather stop, use End at Cycle End in your dashboard or in the payment email and your campaign ends with the current cycle.
4. Late or Missed Payment
A payment-due notice is sent 7 days before the next cycle, with a reminder at 2 days. If a cycle is unpaid at its start, your ad pauses out of the loop until payment is made. If it remains unpaid 7 days into the cycle, the campaign is cancelled and the slot is released. Scheduling a cash or check pickup holds the cancellation while the pickup stands; a missed pickup restarts the clock. If a check is returned unpaid, the payment is reversed, your campaign returns to payment due, and the same clock applies from the reversal date.
5. Creative Review
Every creative, new or changed, is reviewed by a person before it plays. We aim to complete review within 24 hours of submission. If your creative needs changes, we tell you exactly why in plain language, and you can resubmit as many times as needed before your start date at no charge.
If your start date arrives with no approved creative, your campaign shifts automatically to the next available start date. If a booking remains unresolved 14 days past its original start date, the amount paid converts to account credit on your dashboard, usable against any future cycle, and the slot is released. Account credit is not redeemable for cash.
6. Creative Changes
Gold and Feature may change creative at any time, without limit. Silver, Morning Drive and Evening Drive may change creative once per cycle. Bronze and Community creative is locked for the cycle. Community runs still images only. Where SuguCu builds a Community ad from a layout, the advertiser approves it before it plays. All changes pass through review before playing.
7. Ad Policy: What We Accept
Curation is part of the product. A limited, quality loop is what makes the screen worth being on. We accept ads that are honest, legal and fit for a general public audience of all ages. We decline, without exception:
Content that is unlawful or promotes unlawful products, services or activity. Misleading, deceptive or unsubstantiated claims. Adult or sexually explicit content. Content that degrades, discriminates against or attacks any person or group. Weapons. Tobacco and vaping products. Content that is excessively violent, frightening or graphic. Content that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
We may decline any creative that does not meet the standard of the loop, even if it does not fall into a listed category. Where a regulated product (for example alcohol) is advertised, the creative must comply with all applicable laws and carry any required notices. Our decision on what plays is final.
8. Your Creative, Your Rights
You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything in your creative, including images, logos, text and any likeness of a person, and that your ad complies with the law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the claims in your ad. You grant us the right to display your creative on our screens and in our scheduling systems for the purpose of running your campaign, and to show anonymized screen photography that may incidentally include your ad in our own marketing.
9. Screen Availability
The screen is built to run 24 hours a day, but no outdoor screen runs without interruption forever. Brief downtime for maintenance, power interruption, weather or events beyond our control can happen and does not entitle a refund. If the screen is out of service for a continuous period of more than 24 hours during your campaign, we extend your campaign by the equivalent lost time at no charge.
10. Cancellation
Every campaign is month to month. To stop, use End at Cycle End before your next cycle is due, or simply leave the next cycle unpaid, and the campaign ends; you owe nothing further. Amounts paid for cycles already started are not refundable, except as covered by sections 5 and 9.
11. Your Account
Your dashboard account is created when your first booking is paid, and a setup link is emailed to you. Keep your sign-in details safe; activity on your account is treated as yours. We collect only what we need to run your campaign: your name, business name, email and your creative. Card payments are processed by our payment provider and card details never touch our systems.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from a campaign is limited to the amount you paid for the cycle in which the issue arose. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking. Material changes will be flagged to active advertisers by email.
